The Bahamas continued…

Well it has been about 5 weeks in the Bahamas and it feels like home. We have met some amazing people here, locals as well as folks that are traveling. This past month has been one of the most amazing times of my life. We will definitely be returning next year!!

Flamingo Bay marina – thank you for the hospitality and beautiful view every day. I could not ask for a better place to wake up to every morning.

Taino Beach Pool and Bar – Alphie – you are a god send and a wonderful believer in LIFE! You may be the most beautiful person I have ever met. Bucket – You treated me like a queen for 5 weeks and treated all of my friends that visited the same way. Thank you for getting me a shirt! I will miss you both but glad we are Facebook friends now and we can keep in touch until I see you next year.

To the bartenders at Rumrunners in Port Lucaya – You are some of the best entertainers around. Thanks for playing our boat song Clarity the first day we walked up! Thanks for all of the laughs. Tiger – Thanks for the laughs on both sides of the bar and driving friends around 🙂

Marcel – Your Wednesday night Fish Fry’s are a wonderful Bahamian experience that everyone should try. The line is worth it. The fresh fish and local sides are one of the best meals I have ever had.

It was so nice meeting all of our new friends in the marina. Thanks Henry and Kathy for the fresh lobster! We enjoyed Happy Hours with you as well.

James – thanks for sharing boat tools 🙂 Scott – Nice to meet you and catch up with you in FL.
And last but not least Andrew and Greg….what can I say… you all are a hoot! We are blessed that we got to meet you and have your boat right next to ours. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard. “Here come the Americans!” Take care of yourselves and I hope Andy’s stomach is better after drinking the hot sauce…lmao!

Thanks to my brother and sister-law, Brian and Jen for visiting us for a whole week (A whole week, what? lol!) I am so glad you got to see all of the above and meet all of these amazing people and that you had the same experience we did in that …WE LOVE FREEPORT!  Also, Brian did an amazing write up about the history of the Bahamas the last view years and their struggles and why you should go visit!  Check it out,https://www.facebook.com/100001405526813/posts/pfbid0MSZoHBhzB68gy95eRjSsJMYZ39Mz8zAQf9U4YEUG1yUREgFDuMC2XmvZUM8z5VJql/

My childhood friend Chrissy joined us for the last days in the Bahamas and did the cross back to FL with us. Thanks for taking care of me on the trip back…lol! I am glad you enjoyed your time there of relaxing, beach, pool, Rumrunners and great weather!

I am sad to leave the Bahamas but I am excited to go back next year. Visit Freeport if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, it was a struggle getting the Captain off the water slide to actually leave 🙂

Miss you already Bahamas,

Lisa
